Laurence Schuurman elected as EDC Councilor

JCI Belgium is happy to announce that Laurence Schuurman has been elected in the role of European Development Councilor for the intensive support portfolio.

European Development Council (EDC) is a body within JCI Europe. The mission of EDC is to help the growth and development of National Organizations in Europe. They can help national and local organizations growing in numbers, but they also help the members develop their skills as a leader. EDC can help build new national as well as local organizations, and as such is an important team within Europe in terms of the growth of our organization.

Laurence started her JCI journey in JCI Pays de Herve in 2016. Since then she had local, regional, and national positions. She attended several international events. Her motto is “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” by Mahatma Gandhi “. In her new role on the European level next year, she will be offering intensive support to those local and national organizations that need it. Her professional skills and her data-driven approach can certainly be of help.
