Our story
JCI is the acronym of Junior Chamber International. We are a nonprofit global organization of 200,000 young people aged between 18 and 40, present in 5,000 communities and more than 100 countries around the world.
Each JCI Member shares the belief that in order to create a lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves and the world around us.
We strive for effective solutions to the unique problems in our communities in order to build a better world, thereby creating global impact.
Founded in 1915 in the United States, JCI Junior Chamber Belgium was the first to settle in Europe in 1947 (check this link for our complete history).
JCI Belgium counts about 900 individual members in 47 different local organizations. All members are aged between 18 and 40.
